Ashby & Crane started in 2009 with two carpenters, one ute and a rule: the people who quote a job build it.
Our story
We still work that way. There are fourteen of us now, carpenters, a tiler, a cabinetmaker and two site leads, and every job has one of those site leads from the first measure to the last coat of oil.
We take on about twenty-five jobs a year. That's deliberate. It means we turn up when we say we will, we know every house we're working in, and our clients have one phone number that always gets answered.
Most of our work comes from people who've seen a neighbour's kitchen or a friend's extension. We'd like to keep it that way.
